The second Gala-evening has taken place.
The second “Black and White” Gala-evening of Family Rescue Fund has taken place on the 26th of March, 2017 in "Taglyan" banquet hall in Holliwood. This time the symbol of the charity event was fan.
More than 400 people were present at the event: political and public leaders, doctors, representatives of major law firms of the United States and representatives of the Armenian community.
The event began with the national anthem of the United States and Armenia. Then Archbishop Khajag Barsamian of The Eastern Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church gave his blessing to the participants.
Everything is easy in the world, one thing is difficult - being а human. Therefore, when we want to praise someone, we say, - HE WAS A HUMAN. A man comes into the world and goes away with nothing, so the man's only property is the Mark left by him. A kind, bright and human memory left behind.
Within the bounds of the charitable event, the organizers honored the memory of Sis Hakhnazaryan, Papillon International Bakery- on behalf of Jack Torosian and the Khraian's family.
During the charity dinner Hrach Muradyan and Dr. Vicken Sepilian put on sale $ 250 worth keys of the small cottages. There were $ 10,000 worth coupons in the cottages. The door of the cottage could be opened only in case, when, within ten minutes, 40 key would be sold. Meanwhile, more than it was expected-145 keys were sold in that period. And at the end all keys were already sold.
Any thing is done in memory and in honor.
Naz Atikian - Baskijian made donation in memory of her father- Poghos Atikian.
Donations were also made by Michael Sarian and the Khraian's family.
